The Vessel
REV Ocean is unlike any other ship. It is equipped with some of the most sophisticated facilities onboard for carrying out cutting-edge ocean science, as well as offering charter opportunities designed to integrate exploration, adventure, and science. REV Ocean will operate as a research vessel for 2/3 of the year and be available for charters for 1/3 of the year.

The Ordinary Seaman (OS) is part of the deck team and responsible for the maintenance, operation and upkeep of deck spaces and equipment as directed by the Bosun or Chief Officer. The OS is a training position on board REV that will assist the Captain, Chief Officer, Bridge Officers, Bosun and ABs as required.
