Job Description For Assistant Carpenter for SILVERSEA cruises

Position Description:

We are currently recruiting for experienced ASSISTANT CARPENTERS ready to join SILVERSEA cruises as follows :
Embarkation as follows:

Silver Muse - embarkation ASAP for 7 months +/-1 contract

Silver Whisper from November 7 th to December 8 th 3 carpenters
Silver Spirit from November 22 nd to December 18 th 2 carpenters
Silver Dawn from November 17 th to December 22 nd 2 carpenters

Salary in USD/per month worked

Required: experience as assistant Carpenter on board cruise ships, all valid STCW Certificates, valid certificates for passenger vessel STCW Reg.V/2

The Carpenter :

- reports to the Staff Captain

- works according to the schedule established the Staff Captain

- conducts works according to the list provided by the Staff Captain or reported on the reception

- Maintenance & cleaning of the carpenter shop

- Carries out inventories of the spare parts, consumables and tools in the carpenter stores

- performs any additional duties as may be required by the Master or Staff Captain
