Job Description For Sales Manager
1. Customer Relationship Management:
- Generate and maintain customers for assigned accounts/areas through sales activities, including face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, and client entertainment.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of assigned accounts, maintaining close relationships with managerial and departmental executives to achieve maximum productivity.
2. Sales and Marketing Activities:
- Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales, telephone, written communication, and other promotional activities.
- Implement and execute sales objectives and action plans to exceed set targets.
- Solicit and manage transient and group business, including meetings and events.
- Promote and generate sales leads for other TIME Hotels outside the assigned coverage area.
3. Contract Management:
- Formulate corporate offer letters, annual contracts, and other business correspondence.
- Negotiate prices and establish parameters for transient and group business with customers.
4. Client Servicing and Feedback:
- Ensure all business requests are actioned within 24 hours.
- Provide regular feedback to the Director of Sales & Marketing or Sales Managers regarding market trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Arrange and lead site inspections for potential clients.
5. Collaboration with Events Team:
- Maintain close communication with the Events Management Team during negotiations and account servicing.
- Attend all pre- and post-conference meetings arranged by the Events Management Department.
- Follow up with thank-you calls and letters after events to ensure client satisfaction and strengthen relationships.
6. Communication and Reporting:
- Disseminate sales-related information to relevant departments.
- Handle incoming calls and ensure messages are forwarded appropriately.
- Attend departmental and communication meetings as required.
7. Representation and Attendance:
- Represent the hotel at major events to promote its services and facilities.
- Attend site inspections and other activities to enhance the hotel's visibility and reputation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry here in UAE and GCC.
- Fluency in Russian is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
