Dubai – United Arab Emirates, 30th June 2022: Sofitel Dubai The Palm has announced Andrew Clark as its Director of Food and Beverage. In a career spanning 20-plus years in the hospitality industry with eight years in the UAE, Andrew brings with him extensive experience in the F&B sector and is all set to elevate the dining experience and offerings at the resort.
Antonio Ostuni, Director of Operations at Sofitel Dubai The Palm on the occasion said, “F&B remains at the heart of what we do, and this appointment reflects our ongoing efforts to bring exceptional food and beverage experiences to our guests each day. We believe that with his wide experience in the hospitality industry, Andrew will bring some fresh ideas to the table and a new approach to team training and service delivery, which will in turn contribute to our efforts in giving memorable experiences to guests.”
“Dubai is on its way to becoming the world’s food capital and with the arrival of world-class culinary guides, Michelin Guide and Gault Millau, Andrew’s expertise will aim to provide extraordinary customer experiences and ensure that the resort’s F&B plays a major part in fulfilling the city’s vision.” Ostuni added.
At Sofitel Dubai The Palm, Andrew will lead the F&B team across the hotel’s six restaurants and five bars and lounges. These include Laguna Lounge, Porterhouse Steaks & Grills, Moana and Hong Loong among others.
“I am extremely excited to be part of the award-winning F&B team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, and I look forward to building on the success of this property. These days people look for enhanced dining experiences, so it is not just about eating a meal, but restaurants are places where people go to share and socialise – whether it’s a night out with friends, a family lunch, or somewhere to go for the weekend. I hope to contribute to the dining experiences of our guests and take the F&B offerings at Sofitel Dubai The Palm to greater heights,” said Andrew.
Prior to joining Sofitel Dubai The Palm, Andrew served as the Food and Beverage Director at the La Ville Hotel & Suites in Dubai, where he was assigned the overall responsibility for aligning and leading the efforts of the entire Food & Beverage team.
