We seek a dynamic and results-driven F&B Retail and Operations Excellence Manager to join our team. This role will focus on developing and implementing brand standards, training programs, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and driving service excellence across all outlets.
Job Summary:
The F&B Retail and Operations Excellence Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational framework of our brand. This includes developing a comprehensive Brand Standard Manual, creating and executing training plans, establishing SOPs, and ensuring service excellence across all F&B and retail operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F&B operations, a passion for process improvement, and the ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Standard Manual Development:
o Develop and maintain a detailed Brand Standard Manual that outlines the company’s vision, mission, values, and operational standards.
o Ensure the manual reflects the brand’s identity, service philosophy, and quality expectations.
o Regularly update the manual to align with industry trends, customer feedback, and business goals.
2. Training Plan Development & Execution:
o Design and implement a comprehensive training plan for all levels of staff, including onboarding, product knowledge, customer service, and operational procedures.
o Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop tailored programs.
o Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
3. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
o Develop, document, and implement SOPs for all key operational processes, including food preparation, service delivery, inventory management, and health & safety.
o Ensure SOPs are clear, actionable, and aligned with the brand’s standards and regulatory requirements.
o Conduct regular reviews and updates of SOPs to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
4. Service Excellence:
o Drive a culture of service excellence across all outlets by setting clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
o Implement mystery shopper programs and customer feedback mechanisms to measure service quality.
o Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to enhance the customer experience.
5. Operational Oversight:
o Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
o Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with brand standards and SOPs.
o Collaborate with store managers to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
6. Team Leadership & Development:
o Lead, mentor, and inspire store managers and operational teams to achieve excellence in service and operations.
o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in F&B operations, retail management, or a similar role.
• Proven experience in developing brand standards, training plans, SOPs, and driving service excellence.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• In-depth knowledge of F&B and retail operations, including inventory management, supply chain, and customer service.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
