Every year, Ramadan is observed by Muslims in United Arab Emirates as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. It is the month when everyone wants to be surrounded by their families and friends and come back home after a long day for a delicious and various Iftar.
According to Talabat – the biggest online food delivery fleet, there are more than 15,000 delivery drivers in UAE. Many of the drivers came from abroad and are very far from home and their closed ones. Daily, delivery drivers are bringing happiness and warmth to many people by delivering the food from many restaurants and cafes of UAE to homes and offices.
This year, Radisson Hotels had a Ramadan initiative - providing Iftars for delivery drivers by all managed hotels in UAE. Last week, both Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Waterfront and Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Canal View participated in the RHG campaign and provided collectively 200 iftar meals to the hardworking delivery drivers.
