Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort Creates a Chocolate Replica of the Expo 2020 Dome
Executive Pastry Chef Alie Reza's own version of the Expo 2020 Dome.
Ras Al Khaimah, December 2021: Known for offering extraordinary experiences and creative festive decorations, Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort steps away from the quintessential gingerbread house and created a chocolate masterpiece paying ode to the Al Wasl Dome at the EXPO 2020 and the UAE’s 50th National Day.
As the world’s eyes are on the EXPO 2020, the team, led by newly joined Executive Pastry Chef Alie Reza, wanted to create their own version that ties with the festive season and displays their creative skills and precision. The replica featuring the exact detailing of the design of the Al Wasl Dome – surrounded by Christmas-themed mementos from all around the world, was used to create 50KG of white chocolate, 20KG of sugar, and 5KG of almond paste.
