• Conduct financial analysis of hotel operations, including variance explanations, and provide recommendations to support the achievement of business objectives.
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and reports for the hotel and its departments.
• Ensure monthly reconciliation of all accounts and oversee the processes for credit extensions and collection of overdue payments.
• Analyze and review pricing strategies, providing rate recommendations to the General Manager, and participate in sales strategy meetings.
• Manage accounts payable to maintain a balanced cash flow while preserving strong relationships with suppliers.
• Receive and verify all invoices against receiving records and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, extensions, and calculations.
• Monitor and control Food & Beverage costs to ensure efficiency and cost management.
• Conduct spot checks on the receiving department to confirm the accuracy of scales and verify that quantities and prices align with the Local Purchase Order (LPO).
• Perform monthly stock audits and prepare reconciliation reports for all stockrooms.
• Prepare and analyze variance reports for Food & Beverage, and communicate findings with the relevant departments for resolution.
• Collaborate with restaurant management and finance teams to address and resolve any F&B-related issues.
• Update selling prices in the POS system based on instructions from authorized personnel.
• Design and implement financial control procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and contractual agreements, while maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Share forecast and outlook reports to assist departments in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Review operating equipment inventory to prevent excessive or unnecessary purchases and monitor slow-moving items for better inventory control.
