About Us

We are a company founded in Stockholm, Sweden 2017. And are now based in Dubai.

We build self sustaining ecosystems, plants living inside of a sealed glassware which trives for many years with the help of light only. Plants produce their own oxygen and when leaves die and decompose it releases carbon dioxide. The amount of water will cycle inside of the bottle and by help of indirect sunlight the plants keep photosynthesize and grow. This draws science and art together. A very interesting and eye catching decoration for all spaces and appreciated by all ages.

Our contemporary botanical art are well known in Sweden and the costumers there is Michelin Guided restaurants, hospitals, different optical clinics etc. Appreciated as wedding, birthday gift.

The handblown glassware is made in France, an old fashioned shape called damejeanne and is unique itself. We import them and plant the environment inside by hand here in Dubai. We use a piece of Swedish forest inside, the soil mix contains desert sand from the UAE and every detail has a meaning. Our recipe is based on eight years of experimentation and we guarantee that it works. We just want satisfied customers and we deliver quality as promised.

Botanical Art

Description:

A closed plant cycle made on our unique recipe that only requires daylight to grow. A robust glass bottle hand-blown in France that contains 5 different tropical plants and moss from Swedish forests. The plants grow inside the bottle year after year and get more character when they have grown inside. The bottle is completely closed and therefore the water does not evaporate but circulates inside. Plants produce their own oxygen and carbon dioxide. Condensation occurs from time to time on the inside of the glass which indicates that the plants are breathing, the water rains back down to the soil and the glass becomes clear again. When plants die, they provide nutrients and space for the other plants, there are also springtails living in the soil that eat dead plant parts to keep it clean. In an constant changing state which arouses curiosity in everyone of all ages. Our craft draws art and science together.
