Puneet Uppal Joins Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai as the New Director of Engineering
Puneet Uppal brings more than 23 years of outstanding experience in the hospitality industry.
The Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai has announced the appointment of Puneet Uppal as its new Director of Engineering. Puneet is a highly oriented professional engineer with more than 23 years of outstanding experience in the hospitality industry. Before joining the Millennium Group, Puneet was a Group Director of Engineering and Projects at McGettigan’s and in one of the IHG Hotels, and prior to this, he worked in different international chains such as Grand Hyatt, Meydan Hotels & Hospitality, Majid Al Futtaim Group, Movenpick, Hilton, and The Oberoi Group.
As the new Director of Engineering, Puneet will handle all engineering operations of Millennium & Copthorne Airport Hotel Dubai, including their energy conservation and sustainability initiatives. A total of 942 keys, 9 restaurants and bars, a ballroom, 7 meeting venues, and different leisure facilities altogether are in both hotels’ portfolios.

Puneet holds an MBA in Project Management, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the Board of Technical Education in Delhi. He also received certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP)® from PM and other recognitions from his previous roles.
