MAF Accor appoints Laura Nicli as the new Hotel Manager of Novotel Suites Dubai Mall of the Emirates & Ibis Mall
Laura Nicli has been appointed as Hotel Manager for Novotel Suites Dubai Mall of the Emirates and Ibis Dubai Mall of Emirates and will be responsible for managing overall operations, reporting to Nishan Silva, Cluster General Manager MAF Accor Hospitality Services.
Laura started her hospitality career 18 years ago as a trainee cook in a local restaurant close to her hometown in France and gradually grew up the ladder by experiencing various departments such as Food Beverage, Front Office, Sales Marketing in several countries across different continents. Her curiosity and desire to explore the world took her from France to Luxembourg, Spain, followed by the UAE, Sri Lanka via Germany, Maldives, and now back to UAE. She had the opportunity to work as a Marketing Assistant at Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Paris, followed in 2009 by a three-month placement as Marketing Assistant and Sales Representative at a four-star property in Dubai.
She joined the Accor group to open the beautiful Pullman Maldives Maamutaa as Resort Manager in 2019 and proudly waved the flag of female in leadership position as Accor embodies all the human values she strongly believe in, namely: respect, trust, a spirit of conquest, as well as equality under the RiiSE initiative and she personally ensure to promote those values in her daily business conduct.
Laura holds a Masters degree in Management and Business Strategy from Omnis Business School, Strasbourg, France, and a Bachelors degree in International Tourism Management specializing in Sales Marketing from Institut Superieur du Tourisme International Paris, France, along with a Post A-level degree in English studies Language, Literature History from University Nancy 2, Nancy, France and A-level in Hospitality Catering from Lycee Hotelier Alexandre Dumas Strasbourg, France. She holds a certification of Strategic Leadership for the Hospitality Professional Certificate from Cornell University and Certified Hotel Administrator from American Hotel Lodging Association, USA.
