Appointments of Yomi Egbeleye as the Director of Front Office Operations and Mohamed Hassan as the Director of Services
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 17 June, 2022. The team at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai are delighted to announce two new appointments to their leadership teams in Front Office and Housekeeping department. Yomi Egbeleye joins as the Director of Front Office Operations and Mohamed Hassan as the Director of Services.
Yomi began his career with Marriott International, Inc in the United States of America at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis as Housekeeping and Spa Manager. In 2013, he took the role of Rooms Operations Manager at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel and was soon promoted to Sr. Rooms Operations Manager. In 2016, he embarked on his first pre-opening journey as Front of House Support to train the teams to open Renaissance Lagos Ikeja Hotel and rebranding of the resort to The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert. He was also part of preopening team of Renaissance Downtown Dubai Hotel in 2017 as Front Office Manager and was invited in 2018 to help opening of The Bodrum EDITION as Pre-Opening Trainer. Yomi joins JW Marriott Marquis Hotel team from The Dubai EDITION, where he was the pre-opening Front Office Manager; and is currently the President of Amicale Internationale de Reception, UAE (AICR UAE). Yomi’s expertise and extensive rooms’ division background will play an essential role in continuing to deliver phenomenal results for the front office operations at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai.
Mohamed Hassan joins the team at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, as the new the Director of Services overlooking Housekeeping, Laundry and Uniform room operations. Formerly from Egypt, Hassan commenced his career in Hospitality in 1997 at the Mövenpick El Gouna, Egypt as Housekeeping Supervisor. In January 2002, he joined Mövenpick Hotel Doha as Housekeeping Supervisor. Over the last 19 years in Dubai, he has held multiple leadership roles across different brands, which include Senior Housekeeping Supervisor at The Harbour Hotel & Residence, Cluster Assistant Executive Housekeeper at InterContinental Dubai - Festival City, Corporate Executive Housekeeper at DAMAC Hotels and Resorts, Executive Housekeeper at Yassat Gloria Hotel & Apartments, Executive Housekeeper at TRYP by Wyndham Dubai and Cluster Director of Housekeeping for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, The First Group, The One Hotel-JVC, Grand Heights Hotel Apartments and Sky Bay Hotel. Hassan will bring more than 25 years of experience into his new role at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai.
