JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Launches Celebrity Chef Series Two with Chef Hong Thaimee

The team at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, the Destination of Exceptional Taste, is excited to announce the second event in their new culinary initiative, known as the Celebrity Chef Series. This Series is a regular culinary program which showcases the talents of both local and internationally renowned chefs along with the hotels award-winning restaurant teams. This month, celebrity Chef Hong Thaimee will join the team from New York for threedays of culinary experiences at the award-winning Tong Thai and Prime68.

Originally from Chiang Mai, Thailand, Hong Thaimee, who has served as a global ambassador for Thai cuisine and culture for over a decade, has created two distinct culinary experiences highlighting her signature flavors and cooking styles. Beginning at Tong Thai restaurant, Chef Hong curated a'Trip Around Thailand'with a menu featuring some of her classic flavors such as Esan Bann Hao, referred to as'a trip to Esaan'a north eastern region in the country, which will be represented by a crispy duck salad with toasted rice powder, chili, mints, lemongrass and lime. Guests can book this five-course menu at Tong Thai on Wednesday 24^thand Thursday 25^thNovember for just AED 195 per person.

Having recently opened her third restaurant in New York, Chef Hong has become a master at creating Thai comfort food, drawing inspiration from her life and culinary experiences. She has channeled these skills to craft a unique Afternoon Tea experience which will be served at Prime68. With iconic views of the city, this award-winning restaurant's picturesque setting will elegantly complement the fresh and light Thai-inspired Afternoon Tea menu. Promising to be a truly memorable, leisurely afternoon with friends or family, guests can expect the traditional Afternoon Tea classics such as sweet cakes, scones and savory sandwiches, except this time, with a Thai twist, such as a Thai tea poached pear and Pandan fondue with fresh fruits and roti. Hong Thaimee is a native of Chiang Mai, Thailand, and an internationally renowned chef who has been serving modern Thai comfort food for nearly a decade at critically acclaimed restaurants including Ngam and her latest venture in Greenwich Village Thaimee Love.At her new restaurant, Chef Hong draws inspiration from her life and culinary experiences to create Baan Baan-style dishes rooted in Thai culture and traditions.
