Yogesh Prakash Recognized in Hozpitality's Best 30 F&B Leaders in the Middle East for 2024

Yogesh Prakash, the Complex Director of Food & Beverage at W Dubai, The Westin, and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, has been honoured as one of Hozpitality's Best 30 F&B Leaders in the Middle East for 2024.
Yogesh's current role as Complex Director of Food & Beverage at three iconic Dubai properties—W Dubai, The Westin, and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi—began in March 2024. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing the F&B operations across these luxury resorts, ensuring the highest standards of service and innovation. His leadership spans a wide array of dining experiences, including high-end restaurants, beach clubs, and large-scale event catering.
Before taking on his current role, Yogesh served as the Director of Food & Beverage at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark from September 2022. His two-year tenure saw him elevate the guest experience, implementing new dining concepts and enhancing operational efficiency. His ability to manage complex food and beverage operations earned him respect within the industry and further solidified his reputation as a leader in the F&B field.
Yogesh's journey with Marriott International began over two years ago when he was appointed Complex Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in August 2021. His previous experience as the Complex Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at The Westin & Le Meridien Mina Seyahi (November 2019 - September 2022) further enriched his understanding of the luxury hospitality market.
One of the highlights of Yogesh's career was his role as the Restaurant Manager at the award-winning Bussola Restaurant at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. From 2007 to 2019, he played a pivotal role in turning Bussola into a culinary destination, known for its authentic Italian cuisine and beachfront dining experience. His 12 years of leadership at Bussola helped shape him into a manager with a deep understanding of both operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Yogesh's strong educational background complements his extensive professional experience. He holds a degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage from the Oriental School of Hotel Management, Valley View, Lakkidi, where he graduated with high honors in 2006. His academic journey started at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where he earned his High School Diploma in 2003. His commitment to academic excellence is reflected in the A-grades he achieved throughout his studies.
