In his new role, Rivera will lead the brand’s debut within the all-inclusive space, bringing a fresh perspective to this growing market. He will also be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort’s daily operations and will lead cross-functional teams to achieve excellence in diverse areas. With a focus on upholding the iconic W Hotels brand standards, he will also drive innovation within the adults-only all-inclusive segment.

Prior to joining W Punta Cana, Rivera served as Managing Director for Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection in Jamaica. His leadership there helped drive substantial increases in ancillary revenue and elevated the guest experience, achieving remarkable improvements in key performance indicators. Previously, Rivera spent six years as General Manager for various Hyatt Ziva properties in Mexico and Jamaica.
With a distinguished career in luxury hospitality and a strong commitment to operational excellence, Rivera’s deep expertise within the all-inclusive space and elevated adults-only experiences will be key to positioning W Punta Cana as a luxury destination for discerning travelers.
