Carolina Viazcan joins Visit Greater Palm Springs as Vice President of Sales
Rancho Mirage, California (April 12, 2022) – Carolina Viazcan brings more than 20 years of tourism sales experience to the role, most of which is in Greater Palm Springs. Most recently, Viazcan was Director of Sales & Marketing at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California, where she has worked since 2010 in a variety of sales leadership roles. During her tenure, Viazcan led recovery efforts through the pandemic and directed sales and marketing efforts during a property renovation. Prior experience includes PGA National Resort & Spa, JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa, and La Quinta Resort & Club.
Viazcan will oversee the Convention Sales and Destination Experience teams. She will represent Visit Greater Palm Springs as a top meetings destination, increasing meetings and convention business with an emphasis on the need period time frames. Viazcan will develop the strategic sales plan for convention sales and align with key industry partnerships to increase awareness and destination knowledge of Greater Palm Springs as a premier Southern California meeting oasis.

A long-time resident of the Coachella Valley, Viazcan resides in Desert Hot Springs with her husband and two daughters, Serena (15) and Daniella (9). They love to create memories as a family by traveling and tasting new cuisine. Viazcan spends her free time running, reading, and volunteering to give back to the community.
