Vikesh Singh Recognized in Hozpitality’s Best 30 Powerlist of Chefs in the Middle East 2025

Vikesh Singh, the accomplished Executive Chef at JW Marriott Dubai Marina, has been recognized in Hozpitality’s Best 30 Powerlist of Chefs in the Middle East for 2025. With over two decades of culinary experience, Chef Vikesh has established himself as a leader in the hospitality industry, known for his dedication to seasonal flavors, sustainability, and culinary innovation.
Chef Vikesh’s journey began in India, where his upbringing on a family farm instilled a deep appreciation for fresh produce and traditional cooking. After graduating from the Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management, he started his career at the Taj Hari Mahal Hotel in Jodhpur, followed by roles at The Oberoi Group’s Amarvillas in Agra.
In 2007, Chef Vikesh moved to Dubai, joining Madinat Jumeirah as Senior Chef de Partie. His career then took him to London, where he worked as a Pastry Chef at the Michelin-starred Le Gavroche under Michel Roux Jr., mastering the art of balancing creativity with culinary excellence. He also contributed to the pre-opening of Greywalls Hotel in Scotland as Head Pastry Chef.
Returning to India, Chef Vikesh served as Head Pastry Chef at Leela Palace in Udaipur and New Delhi, where he played a key role in launching the renowned Le Cirque restaurant. He later joined JW Marriott in Chandigarh, marking the beginning of his long-standing association with the Marriott brand.
In 2015, Chef Vikesh joined Address Dubai Marina, where he spent nearly a decade leading culinary operations. His achievements include creating a 14-meter-tall gingerbread replica of Burj Khalifa, earning a Guinness World Record, and elevating the hotel’s TripAdvisor ranking to #1 in Dubai. He was promoted to Executive Chef in 2022, overseeing the successful rebranding of Address Dubai Marina to JW Marriott Dubai Marina in 2024.
At JW Marriott Dubai Marina, Chef Vikesh continues to craft menus that emphasize seasonal produce and sustainability, sourcing local ingredients to deliver fresh, nutritious, and delicious dishes. His commitment to excellence and innovation has made him a respected leader in the culinary world.
