The Resorts and Residences by CuisinArt, which encompasses CuisinArt Golf Resort and Spa and The Reef Resort by CuisinArt, is pleased to announce Simon A. Fricker as Managing Director. The announcement of the appointment comes following the recent acquisition of the property by Olympus Ventures. Bringing extensive expertise to his new role, Simon A. Fricker will elevate the guest experience, while honoring the property's rich legacy and solidifying its role as the premier luxury resort in Anguilla.
Simon A. Fricker has been intimately involved in developing and operating some of the world's preeminent luxury hospitality brands. His career has spanned three continents, where his innovation and expertise has driven marked success across a range of iconic properties. Recognized for his forward-thinking approach to Food and Beverage and signature Swiss-style management, Simon equips teams with the knowledge and skills required to deliver flawless hospitality experiences. In his role as Managing Director for the ResortsandResidences by CusinArt in Anguilla, Simon will build upon the property's position and dedication to the local community, while implementing enhancements to deliver a world-class escape.
With an education in culinary and hospitality management from Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern, Switzerland, and over twenty-five years of experience within the luxury hospitality space, Simon will leverage his unique skill sets to spur innovation and place the property in a league of its own. His career began at the Westin Copely Place in Boston as Restaurant Manager, and he has since gone on to lead FoodandBeverage programs at the award-winning ultra-luxury Baur au Lac Hotel in Zurich, the iconic St. Regis New York and the Peninsula New York. He additionally served as the Hotel Manager at the Gramercy Park Hotel, opened the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, revitalized the Food and Beverage offerings at the Mandarin Oriental in Miami, and opened the Le Meridien Chicago-Oakbrook Center. Following, he was charged with opening the NOBU Hotel Riyadh in the Middle East, and, most recently, Simon joined Hyatt's luxury resort Alila SCBD in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Long considered a jewel of the Caribbean, set on the pristine Rendezvous Beach in Anguilla, the vision for the future of the resort and residences will enhance the property, introducing an array of world-class amenities and experiences, along with initiatives that will enhance the community, benefiting guests, staff members and island residents.
