Tamta Tsitskhvaia, Cluster Finance Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Business Bay, has been honored as one of Hozpitality's Best 30 Finance and Revenue Leaders in the Middle East for 2024.
Tamta Tsitskhvaia, originally from Batumi, Georgia, has established herself as a distinguished finance professional. Her journey began with a strong foundation in advanced mathematics from the Lyceum of Information Technologies, further enriched by her Bachelor's degree from Tbilisi State University and a Master's degree in Finance and Banking from Batumi State University. Early roles at TBC Bank JSC, Poyraz Shipping & Crewing LTD Co., and the International Organization for Migration shaped her diverse finance and human resources expertise.
Tamta's career in hospitality took off with Hilton Batumi Hotel in 2015, where she quickly advanced from an Accounts Receivable Specialist to Chief Accountant. Her pivotal financial management and team leadership role was instrumental in her subsequent position as Pre-Opening Financial Controller and later Financial Controller at Le Meridien Batumi. There, she played a crucial role in setting up financial systems and managing budgets during challenging times, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2022, Tamta moved to Qatar and excelled in pre-opening roles at multiple hotels, including DoubleTree by Hilton Doha Old Town, Fuwairit Kite Beach Tapestry Collection, and WA Ras Abrouq Resort. As Cluster Finance Manager for these properties and DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Business Bay, she demonstrated exceptional skills in managing SSC, accounting, and purchasing teams. Her leadership has driven significant achievements, including three promotions within her team in her first year.
Tamta is a pioneer in digitalizing financial documents, reducing paper usage, and promoting sustainability. Her commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles includes encouraging the use of recycled paper and prioritizing digital documentation. Her dedication extends to team development, where she supports her team's growth through training and mentorship.
Active in both professional and community spheres, Tamta participates in hotel activities, Zumba, and yoga sessions with her team, fostering cohesion and well-being.
