Six of Saturns Festival Returns to Ace Hotel NOLA & Three Keys Next Month
Following a two-year hiatus, the festival makes a triumphant return to Three Keys, running alongside New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
NEW ORLEANS, LA (March 21, 2022) – Ace Hotel New Orleans announces the return of its festival Six of Saturns – a 10-day celebration of music, culture, and the collaborative spirit at its on-site music venue, Three Keys, coinciding with the annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, April 28 - May 8. Six of Saturns will be celebrating its fifth season following postponed events in 2020 and 2021.
The first wave of artists to be announced includes New Orleans-based Afro-Caribbean producer and musician ÌFÉ, who will be performing tracks from their critically-acclaimed 2021 record 0000+0000; Grammy Award-winning multi-instrumentalist Jon Cleary, who will be joined by percussionist Pedro Segundo; New Orleans’ “King Of Bounce” HaSizzle; and Brass-A-Holics, the go-go brass band beloved in the city. More acts and adjacent programming will be announced in the coming weeks, including a headlining performance from a very special guest, as well as talks, a gallery installation, and the return of the Critic In Residence program.
“2022 marks our fifth year of Six of Saturns, but we have more to celebrate than an anniversary,” says Jevon Thompson, Three Keys’ Music & Programming Director. “New Orleans is one of the best cities in the world to see live music — the city pulses with a beat unlike any other place I've ever experienced — and we've missed playing host to the many great festivals that call New Orleans home these past few years. 2022 will be a homecoming. We can't wait to welcome folks back to Six of Saturns and to show off the magic and rich culture alive in New Orleans."
Prior to the kick off of Six of Saturns, Three Keys will be participating in French Quarter Festival After Dark, hosting Mardi Gras Indian funk band Cha Wa for a performance on Friday, April 22, with an opening set by Kyndr Joi.
