Rohitha Pradeep Named Among Hozpitality's Best 30 F&B Leaders in the Middle East
Rohitha Pradeep, EAM Food & Beverage, Grand Hyatt Dubai, has been recognized as one of the Best 30 F&B Leaders in the Middle East by Hozpitality Group.
From humble beginnings in the Food and beverage department at Grand Hyatt Dubai, Rohitha's outstanding achievements propelled him swiftly through the ranks, assuming increasingly pivotal roles of leadership and excellence.
Since joined the Hyatt family in 2003, his career has been nothing short of outstanding. His journey exemplifies not only hard work and dedication, but a true commitment to fostering a culture of care within his team.
Over the years, Rohitha’s relentless commitment to Grand Hyatt Dubai was nothing short of exceptional, with his performance and collaborative teamwork being singled out. In 2016, Rohitha assumed a new career high, as he was appointed Director of Food & Beverage at Hyatt Regency Dubai.
Following a successful stint in revamping Hyatt Regency Dubai’s Food and beverage scene, most notably the revival of Miyako, an authentic Japanese eatery now loved by guests, Rohitha chose to return to Grand Hyatt Dubai. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, he continued to climb up the ranks, now stepping into the role of EAM Food & Beverage for Grand Hyatt Dubai.
Rohitha now leads a one-of-a-kind operation, overseeing 13 restaurants and bars and one of the largest events and banquet operations in the city. To manage such situations effectively, Rohitha built himself a trustworthy and power-horse team, highlighting a crucial element: Teamwork. This later allowed for the seamless handling of large-scale events, catering from small gatherings to international conventions hosted on-site - including the city's largest hotel ballroom and a state-of-the-art Conference and Exhibition Centre.
What sets him apart is his unique approach to leadership and a philosophy deeply rooted in caring about his team. He believes that recognizing a team that feels valued and supported will, in return, extend the same care to guests.
His approach's success is reflected not only in his team’s performance but also in Grand Hyatt Dubai's achievement of one of the highest guest satisfaction scores within the company’s portfolio in the region.
