Rajni Bhatt, the Regional Hygiene Manager at Addmind Group, has been awarded the esteemed Judges Choice Award - Hygiene Person of the Year at the Middle East F&B Excellence Awards. With a wealth of experience in safety, health, food management, and sustainability practices, Rajni has made significant contributions to the hospitality industry.
Throughout her career, Rajni has showcased her expertise in various areas, including food and beverage, hotel management, and food science. She holds several notable certifications, including a NEBOSH diploma, ISO lead auditor, and approvals from Dubai Municipality as a food safety trainer and approved PIC trainer. With an advanced food hygiene qualification from Highfield Awarding Body in the UK, Rajni has demonstrated her commitment to maintaining the highest food safety standards.

As the Environment, Health, and Safety Manager at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Rajni was responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive environmental, health, and safety manuals. She ensured compliance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards, established audit requirements to ensure occupational safety and environmental regulations were met, implemented effective environmental protection programs, and maintained a "zero incident" safety culture. Rajni also participated in accident investigations, advised senior management on health and safety during emergencies, and handled risk assessment and management.
In her role as the Group Health and Safety Manager, Rajni played a vital role in driving health and safety standards at her organization. She developed and sold growth strategies, executed plans for top-line growth and profitability, and achieved success in growing sales and profitability in each position she held.
At Addmind Hospitality, as the Regional QHSE Manager, Rajni focuses on managing quality, health, safety, and environmental practices across multiple establishments. She is responsible for developing and implementing environmental, health, and safety manuals, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and establishing audit requirements. Rajni also leads sustainability audits, updates the online system, Gaia, and provides management reports on the sustainability management system.
Furthermore, Rajni's extensive experience includes serving as an EHS & Hygiene Manager during the pre-opening stages, where she managed overall EHS standards, complied with food safety standards, led supplier audits, and monitored and verified the process flow from purchase to serving. She has also held roles as a HACCP officer and hygiene officer, overseeing the implementation of food safety standards, conducting audits, and handling complaints.
