Julian Girndt appointed new Director Commercial for IntercityHotel / predecessor Daniela Lindner has taken over as Head of Group Sales at Deutsche Hospitality with effect from the start of 2019
Daniela Lindner took up her new position as Vice President Group Sales for Deutsche Hospitality at the beginning of the year. Ms. Lindner’s previous role as Director Commercial for IntercityHotel is now being filled by Julian Girndt as of 2 May.
Daniela Lindner has been part of the Deutsche Hospitality corporate family since 2016, but can already look back on more than 20 years of experience in the hotel sector. Her most recent job immediately prior to joining IntercityHotel as Director Commercial in August 2016 was Area Director of Sales & Marketing West at the GCH Hotel Group, where she was responsible for more than 20 hotels. Ms. Lindner successfully managed the rebranding of IntercityHotel GmbH and cooperated with a dedicated project team to launch the IntercityHotel App. In her new capacity as Vice President Group Sales since the start of January 2019, she has been working in close conjunction with the Central Sales Team in Frankfurt, with the international sales offices and with all sellers of the Deutsche Hospitality brands.
In his new role as Director Commercial at IntercityHotel, Julian Girndt will continue to expand activities in the MICE segment and will also drive forward collaboration with the other sales teams within Deutsche Hospitality. After originally training as a hotel specialist, Mr. Girndt has gone on to gain over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing at a number of regional and international hotel chains. He is also able to offer considerable know-how in the areas of business travel and MICE. His most recent position was Director of Sales Groups at Hilton.
