Jackson Hole’s Iconic Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa Appoints Three New Members Including an Executive Chef, Director of Operations and Spa Director.
Hugo Goodwin
Executive Chef at The Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa
The Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa welcomes Hugo Goodwin as Executive Chef of the property’s acclaimed restaurant, the Wild Sage. Classically trained and endlessly curious, Chef Goodwin is guided by a passion for the interconnectivity of culture through the lens of culinary history. He is passionate about food etymology and terroir, seeking to break the barriers of perceived authenticity and increase accessibility. Raised in Montreal, made in New York City, and shaped by Provençal French kitchens, Goodwin is extremely excited to share something new with Jackson Hole that reflects his contemporary American culinary style while also preserving a sense of place that is firmly rooted in the northern Rockies. With previous roles as a private chef and more recently as Chef de Cuisine, at Yellowstone Club’s contemporary Italian fine dining restaurant in Big Sky, Montana, Goodwin will bring over 20 years of experience to this new role where he will oversee and collaborate with a kitchen of 10, meet local producers and source ingredients, as well as curate the menus at the Wild Sage, the bar and The Perch, the Rusty Parrot’s new outdoor deck space. He is looking forward to the creative process of developing an ever changing menu for the Wild Sage that is inspired by the season’s bounty. Offering an intimate atmosphere including outdoor seating and a private dining space, Goodwin will also develop a curated cellar for the restaurant that focuses on low-intervention wines from new and old world producers, to serve alongside unique dishes influenced by the natural surroundings of the Teton and Gros Ventre mountain ranges.

Previously in a store leadership role at Whole Foods, Rosenberg understands the importance of creating and supporting an environment where guest relations is the foremost priority. As a resident of Jackson Hole for over 30 years, he is an area expert and is thrilled to be working for a local, family-owned business. Rosenberg looks forward to being a part of a tremendous team that reestablishes all facets of the facility to be recognized as one of the premier small luxury hotels in the world.
Kimberly Acker
Director, The Body Sage Spa at The Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa
With more than 25 years of experience in the wellness industry, Michigan native Kimberly Acker joins the Body Sage Spa at the Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, as its new director, leading the spa’s redevelopment, which coincides with the much-anticipated reopening of the iconic property this summer. Acker has been instrumental in the successful design and build process for eight spa projects, with 14 years of her career spent in the Caribbean at numerous highly-esteemed properties, such as Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton, Puerto Rico, Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, Anguilla and Kimpton Seafire, Grand Cayman. Living in the valley of Jackson Hole, surrounded by the fierce Grand Teton mountains has been a dream of hers since she was a young GS Ski Racer, very close to the same time that she was first inspired to enter the world of wellness. The Rusty Parrot is the kind of property Acker sought out for her next career move given its close connection to the local Jackson Hole community and its setting in nature with its wild backdrop. She believes wholeheartedly in the transformative power of the natural world, plant medicine, and energetic body work, and will be developing treatments based on a local connection in order for the Body Sage Spa patrons to experience the extraordinary sense of place that this family-owned and operated property offers.
