Nagbushan Shenoy, Head Chef at Republic Adda Bar & Lounge, DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai, Business Bay, was awarded the prestigious gold accolade for Head Chef of the Year at the 7th Middle East Chef Excellence Awards 2024. The grand ceremony, orchestrated by Hozpitality Group, unfolded on June 7 at JW Marriott Dubai Marina, marking a pivotal moment in the region's culinary landscape.
With a robust background in hospitality, Shenoy brings a wealth of experience in banqueting, all-day dining, room service, dinner in the sky, and outside catering. His career is underscored by his strong operational acumen and bachelor's degree in hotel/motel administration/management from Srinivas College of Hotel Management.
Shenoy's journey to excellence includes pivotal roles such as Sous Chef at Republic Adda Bar and Lounge, where he led as Chef-in-charge, and Junior Sous Chef at prominent venues in Dubai. His tenure at The Ritz-Carlton Dubai further solidified his expertise in culinary arts and management.
