Muthu completed his hotel management diploma in Singapore and began his formative years at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club and New Park Hotel as an industrial exposure trainee in 2005.
Since then, he has worked in various brands in the UAE such as Le Royal Meridian Dubai Marina, Anantara Desert Island Resort & Spa, and Anantara Eastern Mangroove. He was part of the pre-opening team of Jannah Burj Al Sarab, the flagship 5-star property in Abu Dhabi, in 2015. In 2019, he moved to Habtoor Grand Resort as Assistant Director of Housekeeping.
Muthu's expertise in pre-opening hotels has been a significant factor in his success. He was instrumental in the pre-opening team of Edge Creekside Hotel, the latest brand of Jannah Hotels & Resorts, which opened at the height of the pandemic in 2020. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Muthu established the housekeeping protocols of the property and worked hard to maintain guest satisfaction with a consistent 9+ cleanliness rating review on all platforms.
Apart from his outstanding performance in housekeeping, Muthu is also passionate about sustainability. He participated in the One Root, One Communi-Tree initiative in partnership with local authorities to help regulate carbon footprint in society. His efforts demonstrate his commitment to making the world a better and healthier place to live in.

He initiated morning energizers to keep the team spirit in place and set the operational schedule in order without any compromise.
