At the Middle East F&B Excellence Awards 2025, held on February 4, 2025, at the JW Marriott, Marina, Dubai, Muchie Masunungure, Executive Chef at The Farm Restaurant - Al Barari, was honored with the Gold Award in the category of Culinary Person of the Year – Independent Outlet.
Muchie has an extensive and diverse career in the culinary world, with significant experience across prestigious kitchens in the UAE. His leadership as Executive Chef at The Farm Restaurant - Al Barari since April 2021 has been instrumental in shaping the restaurant's reputation for innovative, sustainable, and delicious dining experiences. Prior to this, Muchie worked with Soul Hospitality Restaurants LLC as Head Chef at The Farm Restaurant and in Concept Development Executive Chef roles, where he focused on menu creation and kitchen management. His expertise has consistently elevated the culinary standards of every outlet he has worked with.
Muchie’s passion for food and dedication to excellence is reflected in the numerous accolades he has helped the restaurants under his stewardship achieve. His experience with Habtoor Hospitality, as Assistant Executive Chef, earned him notable awards such as What’s-On Magazine’s Best Brunch Below 400 in multiple years. Throughout his career, Muchie has consistently demonstrated a commitment to culinary creativity, exceptional service, and a profound understanding of food.
