Mohammad Ali, the accomplished Complex Executive Chef at The Westin & Le Meridien City Centre Bahrain, has been recognized in Hozpitality’s Best 30 Powerlist of Chefs in the Middle East for 2025. With over two decades of experience in the food production industry, Chef Mohammad has demonstrated exceptional expertise in culinary operations, banquet management, and international cuisine.
Chef Mohammad’s career began with a diploma in the art of culinary from the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts. His journey has taken him through prestigious roles at renowned hospitality brands, including Marriott International, Dukes The Palm, and The Ritz-Carlton. Currently, as Complex Executive Chef at The Westin & Le Meridien City Centre Bahrain, he oversees culinary operations focusing on maintaining high standards, managing food costs, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
His previous roles include Executive Chef at W Maldives, where he led culinary operations for over a year, and Executive Chef at Dukes The Palm, where he spent six years refining menus and ensuring operational excellence. At The Ritz-Carlton, Chef Mohammad served as Chef de Cuisine for Banquets, where he played a key role in menu creation, food cost management, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Chef Mohammad’s expertise extends to pre-opening and opening operations, having been part of the team that successfully launched new outlets and implemented innovative menus. His ability to manage large-scale events, such as Friday brunches with 22 stations, highlights his organizational skills and commitment to creating memorable dining experiences.
