Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi Gets into the Festive Spirit

Celebrate the magical season at the Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi, a venue known for going all out with themed festive parties that guarantees a night to remember.

The celebrations begin right from the Lobby Lounge on 5th December with the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony that starts from 6pm. All guests are welcomed to feel the holiday cheer as you watch the lights being turned on, marking the start of this year’s Festive Season at the five-star property. The revelries include choral entertainment, complimentary beverages and canapés for all.

A Festive High Tea matched with some mistletoe makes the season jolly and bright. Featuring traditional sweet and savoury favourites and unlimited tea or coffee, this afternoon tea is set within the beautiful surrounds of the resort’s Lobby Lounge, adorned with festive decorations, views of the landscaped gardens and dancing water feature. Available from 6th December until the end of the year, the festive edition of the popular high tea will be served from 2.30pm until 5.30pm for AED 195 per couple and AED 99 per person.

Adding to the feeling of togetherness is the Festive Cake Mixing event that will be held at Khayal restaurant on 15th November at 2pm during its Friday brunch. Families can enjoy a seasonal feast from 12.30pm until 3.30pm and get into the festive spirit with the cake mixing activities arranged for all to enjoy. Children can take away a festive cake mixing set to bake their cake at home. The festive-themed buffet is priced at AED 157 per adult and AED 82 per child aged six to 12 years.

Those spending Christmas Eve at the hotel can indulge in a buffet of international favourites at the upscale restaurant from 6.30pm onwards. Featuring an impressive selection of festive dishes spread across eight sections, the dinner includes a welcome mulled grape, complimentary seasonal beverages and even a visit from Santa who will be giving a gift to all younger guests. The buffet is priced at AED 279 with unlimited soft beverages, AED 399 inclusive of house beverages, and AED 99 for children aged six to 12 years.

For an elegant Christmas Eve celebration, reserve a table at The Grill – the hotel’s award-winning steakhouse – and enjoy a festive-inspired three-course set menu. The fine-dining experience is available from 6.30pm until 10.30pm for AED 299, while the a la carte menu will continue to be available on the night.

Khayal continues its celebrations with a festive brunch on Christmas Day and creating a party atmosphere with a raffle draw, live music, family entertainment, a special appearance from Santa who will distribute gifts to the little ones, all in addition to a lavish buffet. The Christmas brunch also includes complimentary after-brunch access to Appaloosa or Couture that allows an exclusive 50% off on all beverages until 8pm. There are three brunch packages on offer: AED 299 for unlimited soft beverages, AED 399 for free-flowing house beverages and AED 499 for the sparkling package. Children aged six to 12 years can dine for AED99.

The Lobby Lounge at Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi allows guests to savour a hassle-free festive dinner at home with a perfectly prepared pre-ordered turkey and traditional British meats, served with all the trimmings including sautéed butternut squash, sweet potatoes, honey-glazed carrots and mouth-watering sauces to match.

Turkey is available with traditional trimmings and gravy in three sizes: 6kg for AED 600, 8kg for AED 700 and 10kg for AED 800. For a full spread that can enjoyed in the comfort of your home, opt for the 5kg crackling belly with maple glaze for AED 899, the crispy skin baby suckling with apple glaze weighing 6-8kgs for AED1,299, or the 10kg gammon style-whole leg with five-spice glaze for AED 1,499. All takeaway packages include a variety of trimmings and the customary apple mustard sauce. Orders must be placed two days in advance and can be collected from the Lobby Lounge.

Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi also celebrates Orthodox Christmas with a special themed lunch on 7th January 2020, served from 12.30pm until 4pm at Khayal. There will be delicious traditional cuisine, family-friendly entertainment, a raffle draw and a surprise visit from Santa Claus. The Orthodox festive treat is available for AED 175 with unlimited soft beverages, AED 325 with free-flowing house beverages and AED 85 for the younger guests aged six to 12 years.
