Celebrating Culinary Innovation: Manuel Correa’s Gold Award and Global Culinary Journey

In an impressive celebration of culinary mastery at the Middle East F&B Excellence Awards 2025, Manuel Correa, formerly Operations Manager at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights, was awarded the Gold Award in the Culinary Person of the Year – Hotel category. Manuel has since moved to the Maldives, where he now serves as Executive Sous Chef at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa.
With over 15 years of culinary expertise, Manuel Correa has honed his skills in contemporary Mexican and Latin American cuisine, excelling in menu development, cost planning, and budget management. His extensive experience spans across the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia, where he has earned a reputation for his creativity in the kitchen and strategic operations management.
Currently serving as Operations Manager at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights, Manuel has previously held the role of Executive Sous Chef at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, where he oversaw the culinary operations and maintained high service standards. His leadership experience also extends to his tenure as Chef De Cuisine at Hyatt Regency, where he led culinary operations while creating exceptional dining experiences.
Earlier in his career, Manuel served as Executive Chef at Maria Bonita Dubai, and Head Chef at Cinemex Platino, in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, where he contributed significantly to the operational success of these establishments. His ability to blend Latin American and international flavors has made him a sought-after expert in the culinary industry.
