Levantine Restaurant and Lounge, Antika Bar, Now Open in DIFC

Dubai, UAE – 12 September 2019 - Highly anticipated Arabic concept, Antika Bar has now opened its doors in Dubai’s International Financial Centre. Located in Al Fattan Currency House, the nostalgic restaurant and lounge takes inspiration from the plush theatre-houses of 1950’s Lebanon, with live Oriental entertainment and contemporary Levantine cuisine.

The Antika Bar menu combines flavours from across the Middle East, fused with cosmopolitan and contemporary ingredients tailored to suit Dubai’s refined palate. Designed by Chef Alaa from Lebanon’s Baalbek region, the menu features traditional Mezza dishes that incorporate unique tastes and elements such as Infused Hummus with Lemon Peels, Creamy Keshek with Black Truffle, Beetroot Feta Foam, alongside fresh salads including a Crunchy Fattoush with Roasted Truffle Beetroot.

Following the Mezza plates, guests can enjoy substantial Main Courses of Sayadieh Risotto, Braised Lamb Shanks with Freekeh and Caramelized Onions, Beef Sliders with Tahini and Pomegranate Molasses, and Grilled Chicken Taouk with a creamy Wasabi sauce. Ending each meal on a sweet note, Antika Bar serves a blend of popular Arabic desserts including Ashta Ice Cream and a delectable Kanafeh.

Each week, Antika Bar presents a full schedule of events and high-octane entertainment, inspired by the rich culture and heritage of the region. Featuring live singers, Mawlawi dancers and Dabke shows, each night has a different theme to ensure each guest has a unique and exciting experience. Wednesday nights are dedicated to ladies’ night, with a generous offering of 3 complimentary drinks and a 30% discount across the menu for all women.

Open daily from 5pm to late, Antika Bar is the sophisticated evolution of Lebanon’s infamous nightlife venue. Renowned for its extravagant oriental parties and exuberant celebrations, Antika Bar Dubai combines its expertise with an elegant restaurant and lounge. The venue is also set to open a terrace for guests to enjoy lunch, dinner and shisha al fresco, in late-September, as well as two weekly brunches scheduled for Friday and Saturdays at Antika Bar.

Sunday Night – Yalla Habibi

Experience the classic sounds of the Middle East at the heart and soul of Dubai’s nightlife scene, Antika Bar. Our resident singers will take center stage every Sunday evening to perform classic Arabic hits, accompanied by celebrity guest performances set to take place once a month at the contemporary restaurant and lounge.   

Monday Night - Tarab Night

Take a trip through time for the ultimate nostalgic experience with classic Arabic tunes complimented by live, vibrant, oriental performances by our live singer and a four-piece band. Special performances will also be taking place once a month, within a bustling, lively atmosphere every Monday at Antika Bar Dubai. Patrons can enjoy an À La Carte menu featuring a variety of traditional Levantine dishes.

Tuesday Night - Hala Bil Khalij

Khaleeji music enthusiasts now have a new destination in Dubai to benefit from an elevated nightlife experience. Antika Bar Dubai presents Hala Bil Khalij every Tuesday night, featuring a fusion of Khaleeji music and Arabic remixes, with an urban twist of RnB and Hip-Hop sounds. Guests can savour Levantine dishes throughout the night from the À La Carte menu.

Wednesday Night – Ladies Night – Bent Al Sultan

Ladies night done right! Wednesdays are dedicated to all queens around town, with an offer of three complimentary beverages and 30% discount on food from the À La Carte menu. Throughout the night, live performances of popular western pop and commercial hits by our percussionist will be filling Antika Bar with energy.

Thursday Night – Antika Show

Ready to ring in the weekend the right way? A weekend experience like no other, guests can enjoy lavish, live performances and entertainment while enhancing their palates with our Levantine menu and twisted cocktails. Thursday nights will never be the same with Antika’s signature tunes spun by our DJ, followed by pop-up, live acts from the band and exotic belly dancers.
