At the prestigious Middle East F&B Excellence Awards 2025, held on February 4, 2025, at the JW Marriott, Marina, Dubai, Leonardo Galati, Head Chef at The Artisan Il Ristorante, was commended for his outstanding achievements in the culinary world, receiving the honor of Culinary Person of the Year – Independent Outlet.
With a career that spans several renowned establishments, Leonardo’s culinary expertise and dedication to exceptional dining experiences have made him a prominent figure in Dubai’s restaurant scene. He joined The Artisan Il Ristorante in January 2024 as Head Chef, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and international experience, including a tenure as Sous Chef at The Arts Club Dubai and Vintry & Mercer Hotel in the UK. His journey also took him to l'artigiano restaurant in Mexico, where he honed his skills and creativity, along with stints at The Wharf Restaurant & Bar in the Cayman Islands.
