Before his current role, Joyjit served as the General Manager for Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow. During his tenure from 2018 to 2021, he was instrumental in building a talented team and driving the hotel's all-around performance. Under his leadership, Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow achieved solid commercial performance and significant market share gains and emerged as one of the best-performing hotels in the city.

His diverse experience includes roles at The Leela Palace Goa, Taj Lands End Mumbai, Swissotel Kolkata (now Taj), Ramada Lucknow, Marriott (at JW Marriott Juhu Mumbai, Goa Marriott), Westin Sohna, Sheraton Grand Bangalore (now Marriott), and Hilton. He has held numerous leadership positions in Food and Beverage, where he transformed teams to achieve and exceed company goals. Joyjit is known for his strong ethical foundation and customer-focused approach, ensuring guests have memorable experiences and become ambassadors for the hotel.
Joyjit brings a wealth of operational experience and has a keen understanding of pre-opening and conversion projects, honed through his work on four project hotels. His strategic vision and operational expertise have made each unit he managed profitable. Additionally, Joyjit has overseen major renovations and repositioning of hotels, further showcasing his project management skills.
As the ESG Champion for Hilton India Estate, Joyjit passionately drives the objectives aligned with Hilton's Travel with Purpose 2030 goals. He joined Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi in June 2021 and has since been recognized with the "Fellowship" honor from his management college for his contributions to the hospitality profession. Under his leadership, the restaurant at HGI Saket received "The Iconic Family Buffet Restaurant" award from Times Hospitality. The hotel has also been awarded "Best leisure Hotel" in India twice by Travel + Leisure magazine at the India Best Awards in 2023 and 2022.
