With early training in top European hotels, Janak's career took off when he arrived in Montreal in 1989, where he quickly rose through the ranks in various hospitality organizations. By age 26, he became the youngest Food and Beverages Director in Montreal at the Holiday Inn Select Hotel, marking the beginning of a distinguished career.
His leadership trajectory continued to soar, with roles such as General Manager at multiple Novotel properties in Toronto and Vice President of Operations for Easton Hotels. Janak's adaptability, visionary leadership, and focus on both service excellence and operational efficiency have played a key role in his success.
Throughout his career, Janak has been known for his practical and logical approach to problem-solving, coupled with an unwavering commitment to see projects through to completion. This unique skill set has made him a catalyst for driving growth and innovation within his organization. As Chief Hospitality Officer at Easton's Group of Hotels for nearly eight years, he demonstrated a keen eye for detail and an eagerness to adopt new technologies and methods that enhanced both guest satisfaction and operational performance.
During his tenure as Vice President of Operations, Janak implemented sustainable business practices that enhanced operational efficiencies and aligned with the increasing demand for ethical business practices within the hospitality industry.
