James Hitchens, Executive Chef of Topgolf Dubai, received the Executive Chef of the Year - Free Standing Restaurant silver award at the prestigious 7th Middle East Chef Excellence Awards 2024. The gala event, organized by Hozpitality Group, took place on June 7 at JW Marriott Dubai Marina, marking a significant milestone in James's culinary career. Valentina Chessa, Marketing Manager from Estrella Galicia, had the honor of presenting the award.
With an impressive culinary journey spanning 18 years, James Hitchens has amassed a wealth of experience across various culinary domains. Starting his career at the age of 16, James has worked globally as a private chef in hotels and fine-dining restaurants and even ran his own catering business before leading the culinary team at Topgolf Dubai.
