Yes, The Sidemen have finally been unveiled and confirmed as the celebrity YouTubers! With more than 5.7 million YouTube followers and a combined 53 million followers, The Sidemen have earned legendary status in the gaming world. 

The renowned group of gamers and content creators are known for their immensely entertaining and funny challenges, sketches and video-game commentaries on YouTube, which commonly see over 20 million views! 

The Sidemen will be taking part in Meet & Greets (available for ALL ticket holders), 1v1 video games, main stage appearances, afterparty attendance, as well as posing for selfies with fans, giving out prizes, autographing photos and possibly even selling their exclusive Sidemen merchandise. 

This choice of having The Sidemen has ultimately been decided by the gamers themselves, with INSOMNIA Dubai running numerous polls online asking them who they want to see! 

Well, INSOMNIA Dubai have certainly delivered, and have really solidified themselves as a ‘gamer first’ festival having listened. The exact members of The Sidemen attending will be revealed over the next few days!

Not only have The Sidemen been confirmed, but also the world-famous Minecraft star, Seapeekay! The YouTube superstar, with ½ million followers, is a world record holder for ‘Fastest Time for Building a House in Minecraft’ will be meeting and greeting fans, while taking part in plenty of fan-favourite activities and 1v1 challenges throughout the Insomnia weekend. 

These huge YouTuber announcements also come with the release of some really crazy VIP tickets (all of which allow you to queue jump) for the 3-day all-out gaming festival. Here’s a brief breakdown: 

The ultimate, most exclusive tickets are ‘Warrior VVIP’ and ‘Beast VIP’ which give you to opportunity to play head-to-head with The Sidemen on the new FIFA20 game, and against Seapeekay on Minecraft! There are only 18-20 tickets available per day, making these super exclusive. Prices start from AED1,000. 

For the over 21 gamers, there’s also special VIP tickets to ‘party with The Sidemen’ at the Insomnia Afterparty. This is taking place on the Friday at Soho Gardens from 9pm onwards, which is right next to Meydan where Insomnia is taking place, so you don’t even have to go home. The Sidemen will be partying with you from 10pm till midnight, and tickets also include two complimentary drinks once inside the venue. Cool, right? These tickets start from just AED 750. 

Being the ‘gamer first’ festival that it is, INSOMNIA is enabling ALL TICKET HOLDERS, whether VIP or not, access to Meet & Greets on a first come first served basis. Yes, this includes The Sidemen! Meet & Greets will happen on all 3 days of the gaming festival for 1-2 hours only between the hours of 2-9pm, so remember to get there early so you don’t miss your chance!
