Hozpitality Group Awarded Chefs During the 3rd Chef Excellence Awards
A popularity choice awards ceremony via Zoom
Dubai, 2020 November Chefs, food business entrepreneurs and people in the kitchen are the stars during the 3rdChef Excellence Awards. Hozpitality Group had concluded the said event last 24thof November, Tuesday and was aired liveon all social media platforms at 4pm, Dubai time, via Zoom / Webinar.
Raj Bhatt, CEO and Director of Hozpitality Group said: "This award is really special for us and it has thought us a lot of things. Now, this is the most important award here. Even the Emirates Culinary Guild believes that these young chefs deserve to be recognized."
Chef Excellence Awards has been an exciting event of the year for Hozpitality Group. Aside from an online popularity choice awards with several categories which acknowledges chefs, kitchen helpers, food bloggers and food business entrepreneur, it also honors the talent and skills of a young chef. Raj added: "every year we conducted a cook-off for the young chefs." But due to the present situation, the cook-off doesn't happen at all. "Entries are submitted, top 16 are chosen and the guild selected the Top 2 young chef, based on the recipes that they submitted."
This year's winner for the Yong Chef of the Year:
- GOLD - Kanishka Dilhan, Radisson Blu Dubai Deira Creek
- SILVER - Farhan Memon, Dubai Marriott Harbour Hoteland Suites

Chef Uwe Micheel, Director of Kitchens, Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creekand President, Emirates Culinary Guild said: "We have a lot of heroes in our industry. A lot of people deserve awards. Some of our people are doing an amazing job to go through the difficulties we had. But we are looking forward to a much better new year." He added: "It's a people industry, so we depend on our people, so we need to look after our people. Let's hope that we'll have a real one next year."
