Hilton Appoints New Executive Chef For Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort And Spa
Dahari will be responsible for the daily culinary operation of all the outlets in the resort
Ras Al Khaimah, February 2020: Hilton has announced the appointment of Ahmad Kasdi Mohd Dahari, who will assume the role of Executive Chef at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa.
With over 20 years experience in the food, hospitality and catering industry, Chef Kasdi’s past positions range from inflight catering to various Head Chef roles in restaurants and food manufacturing. He has achieved multiple accomplishments throughout his career, including representing Malaysia as Resident Chef during the World Expo in Milan 2015 and winning the third-place title from over 100 countries. Chef Kasdi moves to Hilton from his residence in Malaysia where his last role saw him oversee many large catering projects including acting as strategic business partner of Royal Brunei Catering, streamlining the culinary operations at TH Hotels and Residences and consulting for Serapi Group SARAWAK.
As the new Executive Chef at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa, Chef Kasdi will be responsible for the daily culinary operation of all the outlets in the resort including the contemporary Lebanese inspired restaurant Al Maeda, traditional Italian restaurant Piaceri da Gustare, Latin/Caribe Pura Vida restaurant, and the fabulous Meditteranean SOL Bar on the beach As well as developing new and exciting menus and implementing these across the various venues, Chef Kasdi will also be focusing on developing new talent in the kitchen and promoting the use of sustainable and local ingredients. Also during March the all day dining restaurant will undergo refurbishment and emerge with a fresh new concept.

Here in RAK there is such a diverse guest market so I’m looking forward to taking on this challenge as Executive Chef and ensuring that each restaurant in the resort offers a variety of menus that suits guests needs and expectations.
