Popular wellbeing campaign from Four Seasons returns for its third edition with an inspiring collection of exercise opportunities to promote healthy living throughout the holy month
Dubai, UAE, 1 May, 2019: This May, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will once again be bringing guests and local communities together to walk, jog and stretch their way to a happy and healthy Ramadan. First launched in 2017, the #MoveThisRamadan campaign offers light and enjoyable exercise opportunities throughout the holy month, which are designed to encourage participation in gentle physical activity with family and friends.
Now in its third edition, #MoveThisRamadan promises an engaging range of group exercise activities designed to help those who are fasting to feel energised and maintain their fitness levels. Created to reflect the holy month’s spirit of sharing and togetherness, #MoveThisRamadan presents exercise as a natural component of a healthy and balanced Ramadan routine.
Egyptian personal trainer Manal Rostom, a Nike ambassador and the first hijabi Arab woman to appear in a commercial for the iconic sportswear brand, has been chosen as the #MoveThisRamadan ambassador. The inspirational athlete has scaled some of the world’s highest mountains and completed 12 marathons, four of which are World Marathon Majors, and will be leading a special exercise session at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.
This year, guests can benefit from #MoveThisRamadan activities at a total of 16 Four Seasons addresses across the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. From sunset jogging sessions around the stylish promenade at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island, to outdoor yoga classes with incredible views of the Caspian Sea at Four Seasons Hotel Baku, the choice of activities has been carefully planned to make use of the stunning surroundings found in each destination. Each #MoveThisRamadan session will be led by a resident Four Seasons fitness expert, and takes into consideration local climates and appropriate activity levels.

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island
Activity: Guests are invited to join a sunset jogging session with Asuman Kibirige along the Al Maryah Promenade, a 5km scenic jogging trail that curves around Al Maryah Island. As a gesture from the Spa Team during the month of giving, each participant will receive a 30-minute spa massage voucher.

Activity 1: Resident Yoga Instructor Mariam Salous will lead a weekly slow yoga class for guests in the beautiful surroundings of the Hotel’s Spa.

Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay
Activity 1: Iftar guests, in-house guests and Spa members can take part in complimentary 30-minute aerobics sessions designed to boost the level of oxygen in their bodies and maintain muscle mass. Suitable for both men and women, the classes will be led by Four Seasons resident fitness experts Xander and Pooja in the Hotel’s workout studio.

Activity 2: Iftar guests, in-house guests and Spa members are invited to walk, jog and connect with each other by the Hotel’s white-sand beach while enjoying breathtaking views of the Manama skyline. Led by fitness instructors Sanjay, Xander and Bhim, this gentle activity will increase blood flow, allowing guests to stay energized and maintain fitness levels during Ramadan.

Activity 1: The Hotel will offer guests an outdoor yoga experience at Baku Boulevard, complete with beautiful greenery and incredible views of the Caspian Sea, or indoors at the Jaleh SPA relaxation room on the 9th floor of the Hotel, depending on the weather. The 30 to 45-minute classes will offer a simple workout designed to cultivate participants’ vital energy.

Activity 1: The Hotel invites guests to participate in a 30-minute daily walking tour of Downtown Beirut, taking in Beirut Souks, Martyr's Square, the Roman Baths and Nejmeh Square before returning to the Hotel.

Activity 2: Guests can take part in a 20-minute jog along the Beirut Corniche, passing Zaytounah Bay and Manara (Beirut Light House) as part of their journey.
