Five More Shows Added to the UAE Debut of the Phantom of the Opera in Response to Increasingly High Demand

United Arab Emirates, Dubai – 6 October 2019 – Due to overwhelming high demand, Broadway Entertainment Group and Dubai Opera are pleased to announce yet another extension to the Dubai premiere of the multi-award-winning show. Five more shows will be added to the UAE debut of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA meaning musical theatre fans and Phantom aficionados will have five more opportunities to see the world’s most popular musical in Dubai. Launching on 16 October and now running until 9 November 2019, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will now run for four weeks, with tickets for the new performances going on-sale to the general public on 6 October 2019.

The launch of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA in Dubai will represent a breathtaking spectacle with 130 cast, crew and orchestra members, including a thrilling performance of The Phantom, played by one of musical theatre’s most exciting talents, Jonathan Roxmouth, alongside female protagonist ‘Christine Daaé’, portrayed by rising star Claire Lyon. Magnificent scenery, stunning choreography and more than 230 costumes by the late international designer Maria Björnson will light up the stage throughout the performance. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will transform the iconic Dubai Opera stage with state-of-the-art lighting and special effects, many of which are a first for the region.
