In a dazzling ceremony at the Middle East F&B Excellence Awards 2025, held on February 4, 2025, at the JW Marriott, Marina, Dubai, El Mehdi Naamane, Executive Chef at Doubletree by Hilton Dubai Al Jadaf, was honored with the Commended Award in the prestigious Culinary Person of the Year – Hotel category.
With over 5 years of experience at Hilton properties, El Mehdi’s culinary career has been marked by excellence in service quality, kitchen management, and innovative menu design. Currently serving as Executive Chef at Doubletree by Hilton Dubai Al Jadaf, he plays a key role in elevating the dining experience for guests. Previously, El Mehdi excelled as Executive Sous Chef at Canopy by Hilton Dubai Al Seef from 2019 to 2023, where he was instrumental in maintaining high standards of culinary quality and guest satisfaction.
Having held various roles at Hilton properties, including Head Chef and Chef De Cuisine, El Mehdi's attention to service quality and operational efficiency has earned him recognition across the industry. His consistent efforts to raise the culinary profile of the hotels he manages showcase his dedication to excellence in the hospitality field.
