Dwarika Bhatt Recognized in Hozpitality’s Best 30 Powerlist of Chefs in the Middle East 2025
With 16+ years of experience, Chef Dwarika has led culinary teams at iconic properties like Jumeirah Group and Zero Gravity. His innovative menus and leadership have set new benchmarks in Dubai’s dining scene.

Dwarika Bhatt, the accomplished Executive Chef at Zero Gravity under Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, has been recognized in Hozpitality’s Best 30 Powerlist of Chefs in the Middle East for 2025. With over 21 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Chef Dwarika has established himself as a leader in culinary innovation and operational excellence.
Chef Dwarika’s journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management Pusa in New Delhi. His career spans prestigious roles at renowned establishments, including Grand Hyatt, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. He joined Jumeirah Group in 2004 as a Commis and has since risen to the position of Executive Chef, currently leading a team of 200 chefs at Zero Gravity, a leading luxury beach club in Dubai.
In his role, Chef Dwarika has successfully overseen the pre-opening and operations of Zero Gravity, implementing innovative concepts and maintaining high culinary standards. His leadership has been instrumental in achieving HACCP certification for Zero Gravity and maintaining a healthy food cost below 24%, significantly increasing profitability.
Chef Dwarika’s achievements include winning a Gold Medal and the Yi-Yin Cup at the First International Culinary Competition in Beijing in 2012, where he competed against over 200 chefs from 33 countries. Under his guidance, Zero Gravity has won multiple awards, including Time Out, What’s On, and Shortlist Awards for Best Beach Club from 2014 to 2017.
As Chairman of the Dubai Emirates Culinary Guild, Chef Dwarika is deeply committed to mentoring and fostering a positive team culture. His expertise in kitchen operations, food safety, and cost control has set new benchmarks in the industry. He is also pursuing advanced certifications in Performance Leadership and Executive Leadership from Cornell University, further enhancing his skills in team collaboration, strategic decision-making, and service excellence.
