Dusit International Signs to Manage New Resort on Hainan Island, Southern China
Dusit Thani Wuzhishan, Hainan is expected to open in 2020
Shanghai, China– Dusit International, one of Thailand’s foremost hotel and property development companies, has signed a hotel management agreement with Sanya Taihua Industry Development Co., Ltd to manage Dusit Thani Wuzhishan, Hainan, a luxury international resort on Hainan Island, known as ‘China’s Hawaii’, in the southernmost part of China.
Located in Wuzhishan, a scenic town in the island’s central highlands, Dusit Thani Resort Wuzhishan, Hainan is approximately one hour by car from Sanya Phoenix International Airport, and two hours and thirty minutes from Haikou Meilan International Airport.
Designed to provide the utmost in comfort and convenience for travellers seeking to explore the area’s outstanding natural beauty and various cultural attractions, the resort will comprise 625 well-appointed rooms, suites and villas.
Resort offerings will include an All-Day-Dining restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, and a spa. Expansive meeting rooms featuring the latest audio-visual facilities will cater to the island’s growing meetings business.
As the central transportation hub of Hainan, Wuzhishan puts guests within easy reach of the island’s many natural attractions, including stunning waterfalls, tranquil lakes, and pristine rainforest. The renowned Mount Wuzhi (Five Finger Mountain), whose peaks extend like five fingers, has a wealth of hiking trails for visitors to explore. Guests can also discover the local customs and traditions of the ethnic groups which populate the surrounding hills.
