Dip Shrestha Recognized in Hozpitality’s Best 30 Powerlist of Chefs in the Middle East 2025

Dip Shrestha, the accomplished Executive Chef at Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche, has been recognized in Hozpitality’s Best 30 Powerlist of Chefs in the Middle East for 2025. With a career spanning two decades, Dip has demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill, earning a reputation as a leader in the culinary world.
Dip’s journey began in Nepal, where he earned a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu. He honed his craft at Rox Restaurant within the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Resort in Kathmandu before moving to the United Arab Emirates in 2008. There, he joined Coral Beach Resort in Sharjah as a 1st commis, quickly rising to the position of Demi Chef de-Partie.
In 2012, Dip joined RHSA as Chef de Partie and later advanced to Junior Sous Chef. His career reached a significant milestone in 2018 when he was appointed Chef In Charge (Sous Chef) at Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche. Leading the culinary operations at Seascape Restaurant, Dip transformed it into a renowned seafood destination, earning recognition as the number one seafood restaurant on TripAdvisor in the Northern Emirates.
Dip’s leadership is characterized by confidence, optimism, and creativity, fostering a constructive and cooperative environment in the kitchen. His commitment to guest satisfaction and innovative strategies have been key to Seascape Restaurant’s success.
Dip’s achievements include receiving H.E Sheikh Mohammed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi's Recognition Award for Excellence in Cuisine, where he secured a Gold Medal in March 2012. He also earned a Bronze Medal for Practical Cookery at the Middle East Junior Chef of the Year competition in Dubai in 2010. His dedication to continuous improvement is evident through his certifications, including a Diploma from the Mahalaxmi Culinary Art Academy in Nepal and HACCP Level-4, where he was distinguished as a HACCP Leader at Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche.
