Coral Beach Resort Sharjah is this year’s Hotel of the Year – Sustainable Initiative winner
A triumphant evening indeed as the team of Coral Beach Resort Sharjah received the Gold Award for Hotel of the Year – Sustainable Initiative. The award was presented by Galal Ghaly of TCL – Technical Chemical Laboratories during the gala night of the 9th Middle East Hospitality Excellence Awards organized by Hozpitality Group. The ceremony was held last 6th of December at the Arabian Ranches Golf Club.
Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, managed by Hospitality Management Holding (HMH) environmental vision to support healthy living and sustainable farming. The hotel has the farm-to-table initiative and eliminates single-use plastic bottles.
The resort has a garden with organic produce including eggplant, spring onions, mustard leaves, pumpkin, mint, and tomatoes. This initiative supports a sustainable dining experience that encourages a healthy lifestyle. Guests will be served with fresh platters.
Coral Beach Resort Sharjah also focuses on plastic waste production. For its commitment to environmental conversation, it launched an innovative water bottling plant system to help eliminate single-use plastic bottles, particularly in food and beverage outlets and guestrooms. The water filtration system ensures the production of high-quality water.
The team also performed tree-planting activities. Discarded linens were converted into reusable bags. They also collaborate with local organizations to help convert recyclable waste.
