Concord Hospitality Promotes Kristie Byrd to Divisional Vice President of Sales and Marketing

RALEIGH, N.C. (June XX, 2024) — Concord Hospitality, the award-winning hotel management and development company currently operating over 140 hotels across North America, is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Kristie Byrd to Divisional Vice President of Sales and Marketing. A 13-year Concord Hospitality veteran, Byrd’s portfolio spans renowned brands including  Marriott, Hilton, Choice, Hyatt, and IHG, all of which she will continue to assist and oversee in her new role. Concord Hospitality is excited to continue to recognize its exceptional team members and further build strong internal foundations to better adapt and serve individual properties' needs as it expands its portfolio.

Kristie Byrd is a seasoned hospitality executive with over 29 years of experience in sales strategy and leadership. She joined Concord in 2011, bringing with her a wealth of expertise gained from her previous roles at Marriott International and other leading hotel brands. Kristie's strategic vision and leadership have been instrumental in driving business expansion, fostering strong client relationships, and developing high-performing sales teams.

In her new role, Byrd will work in tandem with each hotel's general managers to implement divisional sales and marketing strategies at the property level to increase the revenue of each asset. She will lead and manage different teams across multiple hotels, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets while simultaneously working closely with other departments such as operations, finance, and human resources to ensure alignment and support for various initiatives.
