Celia Stoecklin, Head Chef at Fi'lia Dubai, SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences, has been honored with the Gold Award in the Culinary/Kitchen Champion of the Year category at the Middle East Hospitality Excellence Awards 2024, organized by Hozpitality Group and presented by Taaza. This recognition highlights Celia's exceptional leadership, innovation, and mastery of the culinary arts.
Celia's culinary career reflects her passion and dedication. Since joining SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences in February 2023 as Chef de Cuisine, she has elevated the dining experience at Fi'lia Dubai, renowned for its authentic Italian flavors and vibrant menu. Her vision and creativity have set new benchmarks in the industry.
Before her tenure at SLS Dubai, Celia made significant contributions to the Jumeirah Group, serving as Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef between 2020 and 2023. Her expertise and commitment shone through as she played a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing culinary excellence at Jumeirah's world-class properties in Dubai.
Celia's journey began in France, where she honed her craft at prestigious establishments. At Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, she served as Chef de Partie from 2017 to 2020, mastering intricate techniques and acceptable dining standards. Her earlier experiences as Commis Chef at the iconic Guy Savoy and Apprentice Chef at Il Cortile laid the foundation for her remarkable career.
Celia's expertise is underpinned by her formal training at the CFA de l'hôtellerie et restauration de Colmar, where she earned a Brevet Professionnel (BP) in Culinary Arts. This education equipped her with the skills and discipline required to excel in the dynamic world of gastronomy.
Celia's leadership is defined by her relentless pursuit of perfection and her ability to inspire her team to push boundaries. Her role as Head Chef at Fi'lia Dubai has solidified her reputation as a culinary innovator and contributed to Dubai's reputation as a global culinary destination.
