Dubai, UAE, April 22, 2020 This holy month of Ramadan, Taj Dubai brings together two worlds of distinct flavours and cuisines with two thoughtfully curated special set menus encompassing Indo-Emirati delicacies and an Asian menu inspired by the flavours of the far East.
Carefully designed by Taj Dubais Executive Chef, Vikas Milhoutra and Chef Thoufeek Zakriya, the 3-course iftar menus pay tribute to decades of culinary culture in Dubai. Featuring a mlange of gastronomic customs built over the last century delivered straight to your doorstep via the delivery platform of your choice.
Each dish from the menu is crafted with traditional flair and finessed with Tajs signature unique touch, to bring together a combination of flavours that the people of Dubai have come to love.
Through the Indo-Emirati menu diners will be taken on a culinary journey as they experience two extraordinary cultures in one menu. One can discover how traditional Indian cuisine met Emirati culture and how it evolved into an era of unexpected flavours. The recipes showcase hidden secrets, exotic ingredients, original recipes reinterpreted and traditional techniques a result of years of trade and cultures blending. Noteworthy dishes include classic Emirati inspired fish cakes blended with Indian spices in theKoftak SamakandTekat Deyay Emirati- tender chicken kebabs infused with mild Arabic spices and cooked in a traditional tandoor. Mains feature an assortment of classic savoury dishes, includingThareed Dyay,Emirati home style chicken curry or a vegetarians delight,Khudar Mashwima Baharat Hind, wholesome house-favourite vegetables tossed in Bombay Brasseries signature Indian masala blend. The mains are accompanied by servings of chicken, lamb or vegetable biryani and breads. The iftar concludes with a choice of mouthwatering desserts, which include theKhameer bil Khabisah, stuffed sweet bread with nuts and dates and the quintessentialLuqaimat, Emirati dumplings in date syrup, served with a rich ice cream.
From flavours of the Far East, the Asian menu features classics such as the originalThai Red Curry, seafood favourite -Fish Chili in Basil sauce, Chicken Manchurianand more served with a choice of fried rice and noodles. A five-spice flourlessChocolate Cakeor theMango and sago panna cottaprovide a sweet finish to the meal.
Both iftar menus include a selection of dates and cut fruits alongside Laban and water to break the fast.

Iftar menus will be available for delivery at AED 125 all through Ramadan across Zomato, Talabat, Deliveroo and The Entertainer platforms.
