Atim Suyatim Receives Gold for Executive Chef of the Year - Institutional Catering at the Middle East Chef Excellence Awards 2024

Atim Suyatim, Head Culinary/Production Manager at Taaza Healthy Food Industries, achieved the prestigious Executive Chef of the Year - Institutional Catering (Airlines, Cruise, Catering, etc.) gold award at the 7th Middle East Chef Excellence Awards 2024. The gala ceremony, hosted by Hozpitality Group, took place on June 7 at JW Marriott Dubai Marina, marking a significant milestone in Atim Suyatim's culinary career. Bassam Bousaleh and Rami Bousaleh from US Beef alongside Raj Bhatt, CEO of Hozpitality Group, were honored to present the award.
Atim Suyatim is a highly accomplished chef with over two decades of experience. He is recognized as a healthy food and beverage innovator and researcher, driving growth in the food industry through remarkable culinary developments.
Atim has been acknowledged by Worldchefs and approved as a culinary judge, participating in two Worldchefs Final Global Culinary Competitions in 2018 in Malaysia and 2022 in Abu Dhabi as a jury member representing the United Arab Emirates. His role involves supporting young, talented chefs worldwide in developing their culinary skills in pastry and hot kitchens.
Atim's professional journey includes his current position as Head Culinary at Taaza Healthy Food Industries since November 2023. He has also been Vice President of public relations at the Emirates Culinary Guild since May 2015. His previous roles include Production Manager at Barakat Bakery and Pastry, Technical Product Manager at Dynagraph Food System, and Executive Chef at AFHM Stars Inc. Hospitality and Retail.
Atim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from Sangai International University.
