Andrew Braganza, a seasoned professional with 26 years of experience in hospitality industry accounting, serves as the General Finance at Arabian Ranches Golf Club, under TAHR—Cluster. His role involves comprehensive monthly reporting to management, including the preparation and analysis of monthly consolidated management accounts and KPIs and the preparation of quarterly Board reports.
Andrew’s career journey spans several prestigious hospitality brands across the UAE. He has been with Emaar Hospitality Group for over 18 years, serving as the Cluster Director of Finance. In this role, Andrew took full charge of the finance functions for assigned business units, collaborating with General Managers to formulate and implement strategies that met the Group’s targets. His responsibilities included engaging in strategic planning, developing annual operating budgets, forecasting sales, and monitoring expenses to enhance profitability. His role also required overseeing audit processes and managing unit working capital and cash flow.
Before his role at Emaar, Andrew was the Chief Accountant for Dusit Hotels & Resorts, responsible for supervising and operating the Finance Department. His duties included closing monthly books, preparing profit and loss reports, overseeing bank reconciliations, cash management, and asset registers. He also worked as a General Accountant at Jumeirah Group, focusing on credit management, account reconciliation, and analytical support to the Finance Controller.
